Jamshedpur, Sep 14: Factory Inspector of Jamshedpur visited Tata Motors plant to conduct probe into the death of Mukul Dungdung, a company employee, whose body was found trapped in a conveyor belt at Line 1 on Tuesday.

Sources said the Factory Inspector inquired about the incident after meeting Tata Motors officials and also spoke to the colleagues of the deceased. The probe is expected to get over in three to four days. It is focused on finding the circumstances under which the employee died and the reason for his lying at the accident scene for over 24 hours.

Dungdung had gone to the plant on Monday at 2 pm. The news of his death came to be known during B Shift on Tuesday, sources said.
